Descrição: Somos apresentados a Phoebe, Monica, Chandler, Joey e Ross, logo após Carol assumir-se lésbica e divorciar-se de Ross. Neste ponto, Monica, Phoebe e Ross vivem sozinhos, enquanto Chandler e Joey dividem apartamento. Colega de Monica dos tempos de escola, Rachel adentra o Central Perk trajando um vestido de noiva, fugindo da sua cerimônia de casamento com Barry Farber e precisando de um lugar para ficar.
